Christmas musings
Well now I can relax a little and take a few days off. After an outrageously (but fun) busy time now I can have some time with family and friends - read a couple of books…I started a new one this morning by Jerry Jenkins on the life of John Mark - a fictional account of his life based on the gospels and the book of Acts. So far - very good.

Ok it’s Friday night, we have just finished a really long day at the office getting ready for several services that await us over the next few days. The music, media and messages are for the most part in place and so now we simply wait…we countdown.

This morning in my quiet time I read Judges 1. Startling stuff even though I have read it many times before. I must admit I was saddened by the verses (10-13) that talk about a generation arose who did not know the Lord nor the works (miracles) He had done for Israel.
It proved sobering to me - to think about the huge job we as parents and church leaders have to not let this happen to the next...

Another weekend and I find myself bugged that it snows on Sunday morning and creates such problems for people to get to church.
