Cold football; cold faith; cold feet
As the Saturday eve news is wrapping up the forecast for tomorrow is cold I mean almost everywhere freezing - like zero and even below… Brrr. Of course after all it is January so it shouldn’t shock us that a playoff game in Green Bay would be cold, huh. However it is a bummer that the bad weather does play a big role in the game. I mean how do you spell fumble and dropped pass. I guess overall I don’t prefer games played in the cold.
Also, if it’s going to be that cold then my poor wife will have to endure my cold feet because they are always cold this time of year.
So cold feet and cold football in January are just a part of the territory… But cold faith - never. This is a great time of the year to not only turn up the heat in our homes, but also to turn up the heat in our hearts! This morning I had the honor of seeing over forty folks come out for several hours of discipleship training. How awesome is that huh? Maybe it’s not as cold as we think!
