Panama City musings…
Today is Super Tuesday and this election and political thing is not too thrilling. Watching some of the results come in and I just keep thinking to myself…are these guys (and gal) the best we can do in the United States of America? Where are the Abraham Lincolns or Teddy Roosevelts? To heck with where have you gone Joe Dimaggio – where are you Ronald Reagan?
It’s time to confess this is scary.
On the other side of the coin, I just came from several missions meetings where reports of what God is doing all over the world have been shared and I am once again reminded God is still in control. I’m so busy – but these pastor forum meetings are so important. This year many of us were challenged to bring young guys with us, so I’m thrilled to get this time with Chad Smith our music pastor. I think he’s learning a lot. Most of all it’s a reminder that people and nations will always have problems, but when we set our hearts toward kingdom business – that’s when we gain perspective.
