Load ‘em up and head ‘em out
Most of you probably don’t remember the old western show Wagon Train, but there was a famous line in every show. The wagon master of the group – Major Seth Adams played by actor “Ward Bond” would always get his wagons in a line and then yell out… “Load ‘em up and head ‘em out!”
Well do you know that’s what came to my mind this morning when I was reading Psalm 68:19 in the New King James…this is awesome…”Blessed be the Lord who daily LOADS us with benefits…The God of our Salvation!”
I read that and I had this picture of Jesus as our Wagon Master …loading our wagon with benefits! Loading us up with gobs of benefits from passages like Psalm 103…blessed be the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits! His forgiveness; His healing; His redemption; His lovingkindness and mercy and last but not least his renewing power! (vv3-5) So no matter where you find yourself today… load on up with all his benefits and then head out and enjoy your day!
