Who Knew? Who Cares?
Over the past couple of days I have been introduced to an amazing thing concerning the new movie,”Horton Hears a Who”. The movie is based on a 1954 book by Dr. Seuss about an elephant who can hear these little mircopeople called Whos that no one else can hear. He can hear them crying out. Well this seems to be a prophetic voice of the unborn children of our nation who cry out - but society doesn’t hear them and society doesn’t even care. That’s why since 1973 we have conveniently just got rid of them. Oh the fancy name for it is pro-choice…too bad the babies have no choice in the matter huh? The enemy is such a liar!
Anyway, this article by Lou Engle puts a whole new spin on an old book and points out this really could be a God thing. It is definately worth the read. Who knew that over 50 years there would be a children’s book that in an uncanny way speaks right to the core issue of what is happening in our cuture today. Who knew? God - that’s who.
Now who cares? Hopefully you and me. This has really stirred something in me. The article prods us to pray as never before that this could be a major initiative toward opening people’s eyes to what is really happening with this terrible thing we call abortion. Pray with me that once and for all - the blinders will come off for people who don’t see the real issue - millions of unborn children - who do not have a voice in what is happening to them!
