Quest - ized….

Exhausted?… absolutely.  Elated?… beyond words.  Optimistic?… right on.  Last night we finished the Quest… Take the Land Conference at Bethany.  Wow, what a blow out.  The energy for God that comes out of these conferences amazes me.  It’s always incredible to see how God honors people’s hunger for him.

Of course as the pastor I was thrilled beyond words to see the response.  Even the people who were in the overflow area watching via video feed had a great attitude and hunger.

And the speakers and music were awesome.  After Chris Colletti’s band got us off to a super start… the the next two days the music of Desperation Band was in a word simply - powerful.  Jon Egan and the guys are amazing musicians, granted… but wow, what humility and what a heart to go after God.  Thanks guys, not only was it great to have Jon and Dan Egan home, but what a wonderful deposit of adoration for our King all of your team has left with us.

Last night Splinter Drama group revealed the heart of a generation of young people serious about “taking the Land”.  Great job gang. And then what do you even say to describe the minsitry of Sean Smith and David Rees Thomas?  Man they brought the house down with astounding messages and ministry.  David, thanks for the great reminder of how God does some of his best work in the “wilderness of our lives”.  And Sean…. honestly I am at a loss for words concerning your ministry.  The revelation of Scripture you brought was heart-changing… and the prophetic anointing and ministry you walk out is the real deal.  Bless you my brother.

As for the rest of us… well I hope we don’t leave all of this just as a great weekend.  What a tragedy that would be.  This must translate into personal ministry and faith to indeed take the land. I personally know the Lord is asking me to make some changes in my life to accommodate what He is saying by his Spirit.  This morning I woke up and found myself standing near the Jordan ready to step in and see the waters part… I hope and pray an army of saints is going into the new land with me.  Let’s go for it.
