Lucky Tiger?
OK golf fans does the Tiger know how to entertain or what? I mean love him or hate him the feedback is the same - “wow, what a show” (and not bad Rocco too).
You know when I was a kid I use to wear my hair in a crew cut and the cool thing to put in your hair to keep it standing up straight was a hair-wax called Tiger Wax. It was put out by a company called Lucky Tiger (see pic). Well as the US Open ate up hours of my time as I watched with family and friends - I want to tell you this was no Lucky Tiger out there - but an amazing athlete… with a gimpy knee putting on one of the most amazing golf shows one could ever witness.
For those of us who play the game and know how hard it really is - (and we play on courses a hundred times easier than Torrey Pines) - about the only words we could say as Tiger’s 40 foot putts fell was - ”absolutely amazing”. So Tiger - yes, you said it yourself - the chip in on #17 was Lucky Tiger, but the rest was the most unbelievable display of golf most of us have ever witnessed. Thanks for a great Father’s Day gift
