Will of God works
I just had to write a few sentences of encouragement to all fellow blogites about trusting the will of God. There is an old saying that is proved true time and time again. “The will of God won’t take you where the grace of God can’t keep you”. Wow, true, true true.
I realized this so very much yesterday in church as I listened to our missionary (sorry can’t name) from (sorry can’t name). But he and his wife live in a place I could never imagine living in. I mean outrageous, dangerous. I mean talk about higher levels and bigger devils - this is the real deal.
And yet as we listened to him speak, and later had dinner with them, I have never met two people more at PEACE with what God is doing in their life. For these two this is no assignment of drudgery… this is an assignment of joy and contentment in God. Why? Because God has so ordered it.
I guess you and I can learn a lesson from folks like these. If we stay in the will of God - no matter where life takes us - God’s grace will help us, and sustain us and the joy of the Holy Spirit will be in us. Have a nice Monday.
