Conspiracy!
Ok this last week has been an interesting week watching banks fail, the government have to shore up Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and oil prices continue to be whacko - while our congress does zilch. All this while I have been reading this book my son in law Kyle tossed in my lap last week concerning secret societies and groups that behind the scenes have controlled the economies of the world for over a hundred years. The book is full of all kinds of interesting tidbits and I must admit at first I snickered at such notions, and still don’t buy into a lot of it. However, it does have me thinking and at least brings some answers to all the “whys” we are asking and seem to be getting no answers. So if you are looking for a challenging read but fun this summer and are even the least bit opened minded about such - then give it a try. You can borrow the copy I am reading - but you will have to wait until the dozen or so people I have been talking to who also want to borrow it and read it finish.
