The pleasures of life…
Hey did anyone besides me notice that two of my favorite places are in financial trouble and closing some locations? Yes, I’m talking about Starbucks and Cheesecake Factory. Can you imagine? Is life that unfair? Isn’t life all about bang-bang chicken and shrimp followed up by a stop at Starbucks for a misto-decalf?
Why would the good Lord want to limit such? Then again when I think about Jeff Hartensveld’s comment in church yesterday about some thinking the kingdom of God is prospering and advancing when we save $1.12 on the Wall Mart roll-back… I guess Cheesecake Factory and Starbucks aren’t that important after all.
