Let the games begin
OK now that the Olympics are over, I guess there is another set games being launched and that’s the political games… God help us. And yes the media coverage will be about the same wall to wall coverage as we saw with the Olympics, but not as much fun.
I understand how politics work for the most part - but really how can a person stand up for almost a year straight and criticize the other participants big time, and then turn around and throw total support behind that person? I mean did the issues go away… were they dealt with in a way that the general public is now satisfied some real solutions have been put into place and policy? No! So it’s all rhetoric or most of us would call it baloney!
In a day and age when trusting leaders is harder and harder to do - when will these folks learn the general public is quite hesitant to believe even one statement they make. God help us - because I believe He is the only one who can really help us. Please pray for me and I will pray for you - because between now and November - it’s going to be nuts - it’s obvious the games have indeed begun!
