Shack- attack
Ok, I promised to keep all blogites updated on my progress as I make my way through this book that everyone; everywhere seems to reading. Let me just say “interesting”. Now I don’t want to give any of it away. So last night I read the chapter on walking on water which had my “swimming” in theological comparisons. I must admit I have not yet had that feeling that some get reading this book - where occasionally that just let out that gasp and say, “amzing I love this”. Well sorry to disappoint but it hasn’t happened yet.
However, I did finish the evening by reading the chapter on - well let’s just say “judgment” and I must say there were a few lines in there that had me uncomfortably squirming in chair… and made my night end with part of my bedtime prayer being - “forgive me Lord for the times when I play God”. So there you have it. I am enjoying it a lot - but not ready to go buy a case of these books to hand out to people. So I will keep you posted as it draws to and end this weekend.
