Political football…

It ‘s a strange time in much of our world… while visiting here in South Africa we have seen the President of the nation and sixteen of his cabinet ministers also resign.  It’s bizzare to not only read about but think about being in country where it seems like no one is in charge!

However, when I see what’s happening in our own nation and how we are teetering on very precarious financial times it makes me wonder if anyone is really in-charge in our nation as well.  I can’t believe our president and especially our congress has allowed this economic crisis among mortgage companies and banks to even take place. How could they have sat back and watched us get to this place… ridiculous at best.  Have we honestly come to the place where Washington is nothing more than these people having a position and job security along with a lot of wealth to be had?  What a sad commentary of leadership from the whole Capital Hill gang…. they ought to be ashamed… they should all go to the mall in front of the capital and get on their knees and ask the American public to forgive them for being so self-absorbed they have missed this.  Anyway, just a thought from another voter who is being promised if I vote for one of these men running for President - all of our troubles will soon change.

It’s hard for me to get excited about people asking to run the ball - when the whole bunch has a fairly great reputation for fumbling!  Dear God please help up.
